Our Aquinas Junior Girls Basketball Team recently competed in the NSWCCC Tournament after earning their spot by winning the Sydney Championships earlier this year.

Over two days last, they faced the top teams across NSW, taking on competitors from Tumut, Albury, Wollongong and Hunter Valley. Their teamwork and determination were on full display as they powered through the four-round games to qualify for the Quarter Finals. After a few closer games in the finals and a semi final win by 6 points against McAuley, Tumut they met St Mary's Star of the Sea , Wollongong in the grand final where they won by 9. This crowned them the best team Junior Girls team In New South Wales Catholic Schools which is an honor and well deserved.
A huge thank you to the team for their commitment and effort this season, and to all the parents who came out to support them.

Congratulations Christian (12 La Salle) who has just been nominated for ENCORE.
ENCORE is one of the most prestigious HSC showcases in NSW, celebrating outstanding HSC Music performances, compositions and musicology works. A nomination recognises Christian’s exceptional musicianship and achievement at HSC level, with nominated performances considered for selection in the ENCORE showcase at the Sydney Opera House.
What an incredible achievement and recognition of all your hard work, Christian!

Year 12's final assembly at the College was a celebration of six wonderful years. Students listened to our Captains', Evalina and Cooper reflect on their time at the College, Mr Petrie and Mr Clancy provided their memories, words of wisdom and encouragement for the future.

Major awards were presented to students, while Year 12 teachers were acknowledged by students for their valuable contribution to their learning. We also saw a handover for the student leadership team for 2027.
