The blessing of the Veritas Sanctuary marked a significant milestone in the life of our College. We were joined by distinguished guests, including Bishop Terence Brady (Auxiliary Bishop Emeritus of Sydney), who reflected on the vital role that this dedicated space will play in nurturing spiritual growth within the Aquinas community.
Named in honour of St Thomas Aquinas, who taught that all truth ultimately leads us to God, “Veritas” (Latin for truth) expresses our commitment to truth, justice, and revelation, while “Sanctuary” conveys peace, safety, and holy encounter. The Veritas Sanctuary embodies the heart of Catholic education, where faith and reason meet, and where students are formed in wholeness of mind, heart, and spirit.
May the Veritas Sanctuary continue to invite our community to explore truth, renew hope, welcome revelation, and grow toward wholeness in God’s presence.

Congratulations Bianca (12 Nagle) who received a VET Excellence Award for Business Services and Shaylah (11 MacKillop) who was recognised for her contribution to The Youth Partnership’s 2026 Youth Council at NSW Parliament House recently.
These achievements reflect the students’ dedication, professionalism and outstanding participation in vocational education and workplace learning. The VET Excellence Award recognises consistently high achievement, assessment work completed to an excellent standard, a positive attitude and genuine interest in the course, and successful completion of mandatory work placement.
The occasion also highlighted the important role of VET in empowering young people, developing work-ready skills and creating meaningful pathways beyond school.
The students were proudly accompanied at the event by a parent and teacher, Mrs Rheinberger. Congratulations to both students on this well deserved recognition.

As Year 12's schooling draws to a close there are many important events in the lead up to their graduation and none is more anticipated than the Staff vs Student games. Yesterday our staff took on Year 12 in Volleyball and we can report that the might and skill of the staff prevailed.

This afternoon we were proud to showcase our Year 12 students HSC major works in:
- Design and Technology
- Industrial Technology Timber
- Visual Arts
Completing a major work requires an incredible commitment and countless hours of work outside the regular school day. We commend the students for their dedication to their projects and thank their amazing teachers for their support, guidance and expertise.
Congratulations to our Visual Arts students and special thanks to their teacher, Mrs Morris.
