Last night our swimming squad visited the Sydney Olympic Aquatic Centre for the Sydney Catholic Schools Swimming Championships. We are proud to announce that there were many PB's, Age Champions, two records and ten students progressing to NSWCCC- twice as many students as last year!
Special congratulations to Noah Dignan (9 Rice) who broke the 50 and 100m Butterfly records and placed first in his age group, Sybella Carney (9 LaSalle) who placed second in her age group and
Joshua Graham (Aspect) who was named Age Champion in the Boys Multi Class division.
Good luck to the students who have progressed to the NSWCCC Swimming Championships on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd April.

Tomorrow we celebrate The Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord which commemorates the message of the Angel Gabriel to the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Incarnation of Christ. The story shines a spotlight on Our Lady's great courage and trust.
To commemorate the Annunciation Mrs Maistrelis is encouraging students to earn "Mission Badge Points by completing one of the following activities:
1. A modern drawing or artwork inspired by the Annunciation
2. An Annunciation movie poster
3. A soundtrack with three songs representing - Mary’s fear, Gabriel’s message and Mary’s courage
4. A personal reflection: “The Annunciation teaches me that courage looks like…”

Congratulations to Elijah (10 MacKillop) who is currently performing in Miranda Musical Theatre Company’s first ever junior production, ‘Into the Woods”.
Elijah has a leading role in the production in a sold out season at the Sutherland Arts Theatre. 'Into the Woods' is a Stephen Sondheim musical intertwining Grimm Fairy tales - Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Little Red Riding Hood.
Best of luck to Elijah as he enters his second weekend of performances.

Today approximately 20 of our Year 10 students are involved in an Archdiocese of Sydney Catechist training day.
Students will use the information and skills learnt today to assist them with their Catechist role in the local community.
Special thanks to Vincent for delivering the content and Mr Abel for organising the opportunity for our students.
