Over the weekend eleven students participated in their Silver Duke of Edinburgh practice hike. Students kayaked from Glenworth Valley to Gentleman's Halt Campground on the Hawkesbury River. The students did exceptionally well, in particular on the second day when they were working against both wind and tide on the return paddle.
Special thanks to Mr Hants and Ms Folwell for giving up their time to provide the students with such an enriching experience.

Congratulations Amelia (10 La Salle) and Thomas (11 La Salle) on your recent successes in Judo. They have both competed and medalled in several major competitions this year, including the Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne International Judo Championships, as well as the Judo NSW State Titles.
Over the weekend they represented Australia at the Oceania Open Championship in Western Australia, both winning silver medals.
They will both compete in the Judo National Championships on the Gold Coast in June and we wish them the best of luck!

Today in the library we are celebrating Star Wars Day with a screening of A New Hope (from our ClickView collection) at recess and lunchtime. Students also have the opportunity to borrow a book from our extensive Star Wars collection.
