Today we celebrate World Teachers' Day.
This morning Mr Clancy wrote, "Thank you for choosing this essential, often challenging, but profoundly rewarding profession. What you do demands both genuine expertise and endless patience, and we constantly see the significant difference your dedication makes in the lives of our students. You not only drive learning, but you actively nurture their faith life and prioritise their wellbeing. This holistic commitment defines our mission.
We also extend our sincere thanks to all of our support staff whose efforts ensure our teachers can focus on the classroom.
Each of your efforts are deeply appreciated. Have a wonderful day of well-deserved recognition!"

Earlier this week our leaders assisted with the dinner service at One Meal - Sutherland Shire. We are incredibly proud of the students' commitment to social justice and the strong leadership displayed as they assisted those in need in our community.
Special thanks to Mr Abel, Mrs Jackson and Mrs McNamara for assisting and supervising the students throughout the service.

Tonight Ms Emanuel's Year 12 Hospitality class took over the kitchen at The Pines Cronulla under the direction of head chef, Nicholas Sum. Students had the valuable opportunity to experience working in a commercial kitchen during a dinner service.
Special thanks to Ms Emanuel and The Pines Cronulla for providing the opportunity and the students' family and friends for supporting them. Special mention to the 30 staff members who supported both Ms Emanuel and the students tonight.
