Last Friday a group of students represented the College at the Sydney Catholic Schools Goalball Day, Goalball is a fast-paced team sport designed specifically for athletes with visual impairments and our students were provide the opportunity to engage and learn about this unique sport — a sport played at the Paralympic Games.
Students embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and sportsmanship throughout the day and we are proud to announce that our:
- Junior Boys' finished third overall with a bronze medal and our
- Senior Girls' earned the silver medal.
Congratulations to all participating students and special thanks to Mrs Faber for her support and encouragement of the students.

Yesterday our Year 12 students had the pleasure of celebrating a very special liturgy with Year 6 students from Holy Family Catholic Primary School Menai. This beautiful and longstanding tradition sees our students presented with care packages containing prayers and messages of encouragement for their upcoming HSC examinations from the Holy Family students.
Special thanks to Fr Mani and all the staff at both Holy Family and Aquinas who helped to coordinate the liturgy.

Congratulations to the 11 students who recently performed at The Pavilion, Sutherland, as part of the Artists’ Evolution Showcase.
Michaela (7 MacKillop), Henry (7 Rice), Jonah (8 Rice), Gavril (8 MacKillop), Abbey (10 La Salle), Alisha (10 Rice), Jack (10 Rice), Arlen (10 MacKillop), Mitchell (10 La Salle), Zack (10 MacKillop) and Richard (10 MacKillop) performed as members of the Caringbah Orchestras, joining together with 190 student musicians from across Sydney Catholic Schools for the spectacular final showstopper ‘Mission Impossible’, conducted by Maestro Eric Dunan.
The students dedicated their time to rehearsing every Tuesday after school, and their hard work and commitment were evident as they performed beautifully throughout the evening.
A special congratulations to Concertmaster Abbey, Richard and Jack, who were selected to be interviewed on stage and represent our school. We are so proud of the dedication, musicianship and passion our students continue to demonstrate.
